About Christine Schmotzer

Christine Schmotzer, MD, is Medical Director of the Clinical Chemistry Laboratory at University Hospitals Case Medical Center and Assistant Professor of Pathology at Case Western Reserve University. Dr. Schmotzer received her B.A. in Biochemistry from Case Western Reserve University in 1999. She then completed her M.D. at CWRU School of Medicine in 2004 and went on to complete her Pathology Residency at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. She returned to Cleveland in 2009 and is excited to be a part of the University Hospitals Health System. Additionally, Dr. Schmotzer works with Lab Tests Online, a website dedicated to answering questions about laboratory testing from the general public.
