Ever wonder what it's like to spend the night in a museum – after dark? Bring your youth group to an exciting overnight adventure where you can stay late, or bring your sleeping bag and spend the night! Our camps are economical and educational – not to mention fun!
All late nights and overnights feature:
- Structured hands-on demonstrations
- Tasty late-night pizza and yummy snacks
- Exploration of hundreds of hands-on exhibits
- Watch an OMNIMAX film on the giant screen
- Free parking
- Continental breakfast for overnight camps
- Complimentary admission the next day for overnight campers

New Year’s Eve Eve

Celebrate the New Year one night early at this popular family event! Explore
hundreds of exhibits, enjoy festive demonstrations, take a spin around our
carpet skating rink, enjoy warm snacks and view an OMNIMAX movie. Ring in 2011
with a countdown, a ginger ale toast and a balloon drop complete with
1,500 balloons falling from three floors up. $24 per person, $20 for members. For more information call 216-621-2400, Monday – Friday, 9 am – 5:30 pm.

Girl Scout Chemistry Day
Saturday, Nov. 13
Messy Mixtures– 10 a.m. – noon (Brownies)
Chemical Concoctions– 1 – 3 p.m. (Juniors)
Observe physical and chemical reactions as you mix and pour messy mixtures and crazy concoctions. Make your own slime and learn about the science of "stuff!"
Includes admission to Great Lakes Science Center, NASA Glenn Visitor Center and special exhibition Strange Matter! $10 per person.

Camp-ins are the perfect structured event for Boy and Girl Scouts, Youth Groups and School Field Trips.
Scouts
Is your pack or troop looking for an activity to meet others in a fun and
structured atmosphere? If so, check out our Boy & Cub Scouts ONLY and Girl
Scouts ONLY nights! Join troops and packs from across Northern Ohio and Western Pennsylvania as we explore science together in this interactive
overnight adventure.
All groups will spend the night in the science center. As an added bonus, packs and troops will be eligible for badge and loop credits.

Youth Groups
Is your youth group looking for a unique way to create memories that will last
a lifetime? Our camp-in programs are an ideal opportunity to explore the world
of science and technology as a group.
School Field Trips
Our camp-ins are a great experience for students in grades 3 – 6. The 2010-2011 camp-in programs align with many of the National Science Teacher's
Association's standards. Camp-ins are a great opportunity for students to apply in-the-classroom knowledge with hands-on demonstrations in a completely
interactive and fun setting.
Registration
To make a group registration, call our group registration staff at
216-621-2400, Monday – Friday, 9 am-5:30 pm. Reservations are first
come, first served and require a 25% non-refundable deposit. Full payment is
due 4 weeks prior to evening event.
