Ever spend the night at the Science Center? Here’s your chance! Bring the whole family for a night of space-themed fun! Launch stomp rockets, design a space capsule, experiment with liquid nitrogen, explore NASA Glenn Visitor Center exhibits, meet Eva – NASA’s larger-than-life astronaut, take a picture in the space-themed photo booth and enjoy the OMNIMAX movie, Hubble.
Then, grab your sleeping bag and spend the night among the exhibits! Enjoy a late-night snack and a light breakfast the next morning. Get details.

- Space Shuttle Tile: Science Center staff demonstrates how an actual space shuttle thermal tile can protect the shuttle from several thousand degrees of heat.
- Gyroscope: Visitors can try out what it feels like to be controlled by a gyroscope, like a spaceship.
- Lunar & Mars Soil Simulant: Examine up close high-quality examples of lunar soil replicas as used by scientists at Glenn to learn about the moon.
- Vacuum of Space: See how a vacuum can affect everyday items and why a spacesuit is so critical.
- Hyperwall: Check out NASA’s high resolution scientific visualization multi-screen display! It will be on featured in the foyer outside the traveling exhibition gallery, starting with Space Week and continuing on through August 13. During its showing at the Science Center, the Hyperwall will showcase the Space Communication and Navigation (SCaN) Testbed and its launch to the ISS from Japan on July 20. The SCaN Testbed was designed and built at NASA Glenn Research Center.
